A new tool, designed to help retailers derive deep insights into the payment behaviour of their customers has been launched by Computop the international payment service provider (PSP). Computop 360 Professional monitors transaction data that allows merchant systems and payment flows to be optimally coordinated.

Numerous filters for in-depth insights

The new business intelligence tool is browser-based enabling it to be used by Computop customers without a separate software installation. Extensive filter functions allow numerous parameters and transaction attributes to be analysed. For example, the success rates and share of transactions of payment methods can be evaluated, regional branches or sales channels can be compared and the performance of various acquirers can be analysed.

Insight into 3-D Secure 2 transactions and the efficient use of SCA exemptions are key factors in increasing the conversion rate of card payments.

The Computop 360 Professional big data analysis comes with preconfigured dashboards that provide information on payment transactions allowing detailed comparisons to be made on a daily, monthly or annual basis. Filter parameters can be set along with Bookmarks that allow retailers to save selections for repeated queries. Computop also offers fully configurable and customised dashboards and includes a data export function that enables further processing to be carried out in spreadsheets and integrated for company reporting.

Stephan Kück, CEO at Computop, commented: “Computop 360 makes payment transactions in all channels more transparent than ever before. The pilot project with a major fashion retailer has already shown how much optimisation potential there is in the checkout. It is not uncommon for in-depth analyses to reveal weaknesses in payment method integration, which can cost retailers money at the end of the day.”
