Zepz Raises $267M in Series F Round Led by Accel
Zepz, the global money transfer service group behind Sendwave and WorldRemit, has secured $267 million in a Series F equity round, led by venture capital firm Accel. Previous investors Leapfrog and TCV also participated, with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) pledging up to $20 million as part of the round.
The funds will drive Zepz’s entry into new markets and support the expansion of products like the Zepz Wallet. Group CEO Mark Lenhard stated the investment will help fuel growth and innovation. This follows a $292 million Series E in 2021, with Zepz now operating in over 40 send and 90 receive countries, achieving profitability in 2022.
