Bir Announces Incentives and Training Programme for Micro-Entrepreneurs, Expanding Digital Access
Bir, the Caucasus’ first fully integrated banking, payments and e-commerce ecosystem, today unveils Biznesdə birlikdə (Together in Business), a new integrated programme of incentives and support for Azerbaijan’s aspiring and established micro-entrepreneurs, with a goal of helping them join the digital economy.
Birdən biznesə will begin providing support from October 2026. It draws on tech capabilities from across the Bir ecosystem, including Birbank, Birmarket e-commerce platform, m10 digital wallet and Milliön cash-in payment terminals, to enable individuals to further develop their business and management skills and adopt digital technologies in payments, sales and e-commerce. Participants will also receive other practical support with day-to-day operations, helping them grow their businesses.
This programme aims to provide broad-based skills and support with a particular focus on young entrepreneurs, women, as well as those who might have limited access to resources and business networks, including people with disabilities, retirees and families of fallen service members. It will help onboard participants to the Birmarket platform, and provide them with training in business management, financial and legal literacy, tax and accounting, marketing and social media, as well as offer practical tips for succeeding as online sellers.

The programme will also provide preferential access to a range of financial and marketing services, including free point-of-sale (POS) payment tools, reduced commission fees on payment processing, commission-free access to Bir Bonus loyalty programme tools, and preferential terms on selected credit instalment products. In addition, Birbank Biznes, Bir’s business banking app, will unlock up to AZN 10,000 (c. US$5,900) in withdrawals and transfers commission-free for one year.
The Birdən biznesə programme forms part of Bir’s broader commitment to supporting entrepreneurship and financial inclusion by creating more accessible pathways into the digital economy. By onboarding aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs to digital tools and platforms, the initiative is also expected to support Azerbaijan’s transition from cash to digital commerce. It represents an integral part of the corporate and social responsibility agenda at Bir, whose ecosystem reaches more than 5 million people, helping connect consumers and businesses across everyday digital services in the country.
