CyberKord, an Italian startup developing an AI-powered platform to automate IT and cybersecurity operations, has announced the closing of a €2.7 million Pre-Seed funding round. The round was led by 360 Capital, with participation from Plus Partners, Addendum Capital and Vento.

Founded in Milan in 2026 by Alessandro Maggio, Dragos Tanasa and Cosimo Michelagnoli, CyberKord aims to address the growing gap between the speed at which cyber threats are detected and the time required to resolve them. While security tools can identify problems within minutes, remediation can still take days, as access requests and incidents often require manual intervention.

The challenge is becoming increasingly urgent as companies continue to introduce new systems and AI agents while cyberattacks grow more sophisticated. According to the CrowdStrike 2026 Global Threat Report, the average time between initial access and lateral movement by hackers fell to 29 minutes in 2025. In Italy, the Clusit Report 2026 recorded 507 serious cyberattacks in 2025, representing a 42% increase compared with the previous year.

CyberKord addresses this challenge through an AI platform that can take action on security and IT issues, starting from an alert, ticket or message received through collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams or Slack. The platform identifies the underlying cause, simulates potential fixes and implements them using existing tools. Companies retain control over the level of autonomy granted to the AI, while every action remains logged and verifiable.

Unlike traditional solutions that primarily identify problems and recommend corrective actions, CyberKord aims to automate the entire process, moving from detection to resolution.

The platform integrates with existing cloud and on-premise infrastructure without requiring companies to replace their current tools. This allows IT and security teams to focus more on architecture, strategic projects and decisions that require human expertise.

The newly raised capital will support further platform development and the launch of initial pilot projects with large European companies across manufacturing, technology, healthcare and telecommunications. CyberKord also plans to expand its team, particularly across technical and commercial functions.

“Companies add infrastructure, software and AI agents every week, and operational work grows faster than any team. As a result, the time of expert professionals ends up in patches, access requests and incidents, one ticket at a time. We built an artificial intelligence that does that work on its own, from start to finish, and shows every step. The team chooses how far to let it act and takes back time for architecture, projects and the decisions it was hired for. We thank 360 Capital, Plus Partners, Addendum and Vento for believing in us and for their support in the next phase of growth,” says Alessandro Maggio, Co-founder and CEO of CyberKord.

“Companies already have advanced tools to detect cyber threats, but turning that information into concrete action remains a complex, slow and often manual process. This is exactly where we see the potential of CyberKord: not another security tool, but a platform that integrates existing tools, reconstructs the relationships between systems and identities and makes interventions faster and more targeted. We decided to invest in a team with very strong technical skills and an ambitious vision, because we believe this approach can represent a significant evolution in how large companies manage their cybersecurity,” says Francesco Zambelli, Investor at 360 Capital.

CyberKord aims to become a reference operating infrastructure for the autonomous management of IT and cybersecurity operations, helping companies navigate growing technological complexity and strengthen security in an environment where reliance on manual processes is becoming increasingly unsustainable.
