Outpayce by Amadeus rolls out a B2B digital wallet on Mambu’s platform
Outpayce, an eMoney institution licensed in Spain, has selected Mambu‘s cloud banking platform to launch a multi-currency digital wallet, simplifying the end-to-end travel payments experience.
Amadeus, a global travel tech leader, launched Outpayce last year to enhance its B2B travel payments business, processing over $160 billion in payments globally in the past year.
Securing its EMI license, Outpayce chose Mambu for its proven support in financial institution modernization and its global presence across 65+ countries.
As a key travel industry payment player, Outpayce needed a robust core banking system for high transaction volumes and current accounts. Mambu’s cloud-based, self-service SaaS platform enables Outpayce to configure, launch, and optimize various financial products seamlessly.
Werner Van Ravesteyn, Head of Enterprise Products, Platforms and Services at Outpayce, stated: “We serve hundreds of travel industry customers with robust, user-friendly payment solutions, simplifying their payment processes. Scalability is crucial, which is why we opted to be fully cloud-based from day one.”
Van Ravesteyn continued, “Mambu stood out for its cloud-native approach, multi-currency account management, and support for numerous payment schemes. Mambu’s SaaS model ensures real-time updates, allowing us to focus on solution-building while it handles backend maintenance. With our EMI license, we trust Mambu to help us scale and deliver our vision of simplifying payments for all our customers.”
With its EMI license, Outpayce will expand its payment services in Spain and throughout the EU, powered by Mambu.
Víctor Indiano, Area Manager for Southern Europe, commented, “Our scalable, flexible approach will enable the travel tech leader to serve multiple digital payment use cases and integrate with top technologies. On Mambu’s modern core foundation, Outpayce can maintain a steady pace of innovation.”
Outpayce aims to expand its offerings globally in later phases, with Mambu implementation expected to go live in the coming months.
