Paymob and Zumr Partner to Digitize Money Circles in Oman

Paymob, a leading digital payments provider, has announced a strategic partnership with Zumr, Oman’s innovative platform for digitizing money circles (الجمعيات), a traditional community-based savings system. This partnership aims to bring digital transformation to this important financial practice, enhancing accessibility and convenience for users across Oman.

Zumr, a graduate of the Central Bank of Oman’s Fintech Accelerator program, provides a unique solution to digitize money circles, which are widely used by individuals with limited access to formal banking services. The collaboration with Paymob will enable seamless online payments for these savings circles, expanding financial inclusion and supporting the Omani government’s economic diversification agenda.
