Socure Introduces Selfie Reverification with Deepfake Detection for Instant Identity Checks
Socure, a leader in AI-driven digital identity verification, has unveiled its Selfie Reverification feature, allowing users to validate their identities with a simple selfie in under 2 seconds. This new capability matches the incoming selfie with a previously verified ID photo, achieving an impressive 99.9% true match rate while detecting deepfakes and age discrepancies.
Building on its Document Verification (DocV) product, which has a 99% success rate for first-time selfies and 98% accuracy in liveness detection, Selfie Reverification aims to enhance security amid rising identity fraud. It features integrated liveness detection to ensure the user is present during the selfie capture, effectively blocking spoofing attempts.
“Identity verification isn’t a one-time event,” said Pablo Abreu, Socure’s Chief Product and Analytics Officer. “Selfie Reverification allows for quick trust assessments, crucial for high-risk situations like banking transactions or age verification for deliveries.”
The feature is designed for various sectors, including finance, eCommerce, and government services, providing a rapid risk assessment tool while improving customer experiences and reducing operational costs.
Socure’s advanced technology also conducts thorough liveness checks and employs a deepfake detection model trained on diverse samples, ensuring high accuracy in identity validation. With over 2,500 clients across multiple industries, Socure continues to set the standard for secure and efficient identity verification solutions. For more information, visit socure.com.
