Visa (NYSE: V), a global leader in digital payments, and MISA, a provider of digital transformation solutions for finance, accounting, and enterprise management, have announced a strategic collaboration to empower Vietnamese businesses with comprehensive digital payment solutions. This partnership aims to accelerate digital transformation, promote financial inclusion, and enhance operational efficiency for businesses of all sizes in Vietnam.

Vietnam’s rapidly evolving business landscape presents unique challenges and opportunities. The new VAT law, which takes effect on July 1, 2025, highlights the growing need for efficient, transparent, and compliant financial management solutions. Both Visa and MISA share a common vision of providing Vietnamese businesses with the tools and resources they need to succeed in the digital economy.

The collaboration will focus on key areas, including:

Digital Payment Solutions: Visa and MISA will encourage the adoption of digital payment systems among businesses and government entities. Visa’s corporate card solutions will simplify payment processes and improve reconciliation. Additionally, Visa will partner with JETPAY (a MISA subsidiary) to create a Business Payment Service Provider (BPSP) platform to streamline payment solutions.

Upskilling and Capacity Building: Visa and MISA will jointly develop training programs, consulting services, and technical support initiatives. These efforts will improve businesses’ understanding of digital payment methods and the role of credit cards in managing cash flow.

Data Collaboration and Financial Inclusion: Visa and MISA will collaborate with banks to enhance payment services using AI technology for data processing and credit appraisal, helping businesses access capital more efficiently.

Support for New Tax Regulations: In light of the new VAT law, Visa and MISA are committed to providing businesses with digital payment tools that facilitate compliance, streamline documentation, and enable smoother tax transitions.

Exclusive Offers: The partnership will also offer exclusive deals from Visa, partner banks, and MISA, particularly for finance, accounting, marketing, sales, digital office, and human resources solutions.

Ms. Dung Dang, Country Manager of Visa Vietnam and Laos, said, “Visa is dedicated to driving financial inclusion and innovation in Vietnam. This collaboration with MISA combines our global expertise in payments with MISA’s deep understanding of the local business landscape, helping businesses thrive in the digital economy.”
