TBC Uzbekistan Launches Fully Digital Payroll Feature, Expanding TBC Business Offering
TBC Uzbekistan, Central Asia’s leading digital banking ecosystem and part of London-listed TBC Bank Group, today announces the launch of its new fully digital payroll feature for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), further enriching its offering for business customers.
The new feature is part of TBC Business, Uzbekistan’s first fully digital banking solution for businesses. It enables TBC Business users to make payroll payment digitally at any time, including on weekends and holidays, with salaries instantly credited to employees’ TBC Salom debit cards.
TBC Business continues to see strong demand since its launch in December 2024, with more than 30,000 businesses registered with the platform. The latest expansion of its offering is in line with TBC Uzbekistan’s focus on providing businesses with all the digital tools they need to operate seamlessly and scale their operations with ease.
Nika Kurdiani, CEO of TBC Uzbekistan, commented: “At TBC Uzbekistan, our overarching mission is to take the hassle out of financial services and make people’s lives easier. We have applied this vision to growing our market-leading consumer offering and are now focused on scaling our business offering in the same manner. This new payroll feature helps automate routine financial processes for SMEs at no additional cost, freeing up time for entrepreneurs to focus on scaling their businesses, while ensuring employees benefit from a seamless digital experience when receiving their salaries”
Employees of companies using the payroll feature also have access to a range of benefits. They can apply online for a TBC Salom card, earn cashback on purchases, and earn interest on balances. They also have access to commission-free transfers in the TBC UZ app, cash rebates for deposits and withdrawals, and other TBC ecosystem features.
The digital payroll feature rollout is part of TBC Uzbekistan’s strategy of expanding its product offering and creating additional synergies within the ecosystem to address more of its users’ daily needs. Previous recent additions include an SME lending product, the launch of a dedicated TBC Business app, and the acquisition of BILLZ, Uzbekistan’s leading retail management SaaS platform. These have enabled TBC Business to become a leading digital one-stop-shop for businesses needs, ranging from inventory and payroll management to payments and banking services.
