Volution Lands $100M SBI-Backed Fintech and SaaS Fund

Volution, a leading UK venture capital firm, has launched a $100 million fund in partnership with Japan’s SBI Investment Co., Ltd. through a Co-GP structure. This second fund follows the success of Volution’s first fund, which achieved 300% average revenue growth and backed companies like Signal AI, Flagstone, Cognism, and unicorn Zopa Bank.

Targeting high-growth FinTech, AI, and SaaS companies with strong revenues, the fund aims to address the UK’s critical post-Series A funding gap. Initial investments have already been made into one FinTech and one AI business.

The launch aligns with increasing UK-Japan economic collaboration and the UK’s focus on productivity, innovation, and growth. Beyond financial returns, Volution emphasizes ESG initiatives, including its Carbon Carry program to support sustainable practices among portfolio companies.
